Why we measure thermal and physical properties
In a lot of cases general information about lubricants is sufficient as the thermal and physical properties of a lubricant change when the oil is ageing. However, in some cases empirical formulas and general oil properties are not enough and more accurate information about the lubricant is required to optimize equipment design.
In order to support OEMs with their calculations, Q8Research has measured thermal and physical properties of some of our products.
